In our commitment to encouraging academic excellence, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Kappa Beta Zeta Chapter is pleased to present two scholarship programs to further the education advancement of those who exhibit academic achievement, a commitment to community service, and leadership qualities.

Our scholarships become available in the winter of each year, and we encourage you to look at their information for when they become available.

Bernice Bynum Scholarship

Through our Bernice Bynum Scholarship, we are pleased to award two $1,500 Bernice Bynum Scholarships to two graduating high school seniors. To become eligible for this scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria:  

  • Graduating High School Senior

  • Minimum 2.7 Cumulative GPA

  • Milwaukee County Resident

  • Accepted into a 4-year accredited college or university program 

  • Community Service Experience

For consideration, we invite applicants to complete and electronically submit the following supporting documents:  

  • Electronically submit completed and signed application 

  • Upload one personal statement   

  • Upload two (2) letters of recommendation (from teacher, community leader, employer)  

  • Upload a copy of the acceptance letter from college or university 

The Power Of S.H.E. Scholarship

Through the Power of S.H.E. Scholarship (Social, Health, and Economic Justice), we are pleased to award a $1,500 scholarship to a nontraditional working mom seeking to further her education and obtain a degree in her chosen field. To become eligible for this scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria:  

  • Working mom returning to and enrolling in a 4-year college/university

  • Full-time undergraduate student pursuing a 4-year college/university degree

  • Milwaukee County Resident
