National Signature Programs
From the Sorority’s inception, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has long demonstrated an interest in serving the needs of the community. Spanning the Sorority’s nearly thirty-year partnership with the March of Dimes. Zeta Phi Beta has been at the forefront of anticipating the ever-changing needs of society. To serve our communities' needs, Zeta Phi Beta has formed strategic alliances with various organizations and established numerous signature programs, as seen below.
Stork’s Nest
Since 1972, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has enjoyed a partnership with the March of Dimes in an effort to encourage women to seek prenatal care within the first trimester of pregnancy, thereby increasing the prevention of birth defects and infant mortality. Nationwide, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. sponsors over 150 Stork’s Nests.
Zeta recently celebrated over 50 years of collaboration with the March of Dimes. The program was updated to include a new national logo, new educational materials and new incentive items for those mothers participating in the program.

To support our local Stork’s Nest locations, the Chapter hosts information sessions educating the public on what the Stork’s Nest program does; providing donations to each Nest such as formula, diapers, car seats, and essential needs; hosting community baby showers.
Z – NEF (National Educational Foundation)
Z – H.O.P.E. (Zetas Helping Other People Excel)
Z-HOPE is an outreach service program that has six primary objectives, corresponding measures of success and a mechanism for chapter recognition. The primary objectives are:
To provide culturally appropriate informational activities according to the Z-HOPE program format
To foster collaborative partnerships between community organizations with shared goals
To promote the opportunities for expansion in Stork’s Nest programs
To facilitate community service and mentorship opportunities for members of the organization
To provide an equitable chapter recognition program for community services rendered
To provide a standard reporting format to concentrate efforts and demonstrate the organization’s impact

The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. with 501 (c) 3 status is created and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The principle activities and purpose of the trust are to award scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education; to conduct community educational programs that will aid in the educational and vocational improvement of individual and community living standards; to engage in activities that will aid in the educational development of all women; and to engage in any appropriate research related to the purposes of the Foundation scholarship.

Zetas Have Heart
Zetas Have Heart is a program designed to increase awareness about heart disease in African-American women and to support members of Zeta and the community in getting fit and becoming more active.

Get Engaged in a national initiative of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that encourages members to take an active role in community organizing. Members are invited to raise awareness on key issues, promoting voter registration and mobilization, building relationships with elected officials, and encouraging qualified women and minorities to pursue community leadership positions.

Adopt-a-School
The Zeta Adopt-A-School program is an initiative to create a school and community partnership that will positively impact student achievement, attendance, and the availability of role models for students of color. The program constitutes a year-long, mutually beneficial partnership that provides schools with resources, support and structure. Activities are designed to support learning objectives, and each partnership is developed jointly by members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and their adopted school.
